On the site of a medieval monastery and Knights Templar pilgrim route, we have a small farm on the beautiful Normandy Manche peninsular. As a smallholding we keep Oxford Sandy and Black pigs, Roussin de la Hague sheep and some chickens. We also have a tea room during the Summer months, offer Bed and Breakfast as well as growing and selling cut flowers for bouquets all year round.
We are 15 minutes from both the beautiful rugged Cornish style west coast and the tranquil dunes of the east coast. We are ideally situated to explore the popular sites; D-Day landing beaches, 2nd World War Cemeteries, Bayeux Tapestry, Mont Saint Michel etc. The peninsula is also famed for its rugged coastal beauty and stunning views; Nez du Jobourg, Cap de Hague, Port la Racine, Gatteville are a handful of places worth exploring. With so much coastline, it’s also the perfect place to sample local seafood; Mussels from Barfleur, Oysters from St. Vaast la Hougue, Blue lobsters from Carteret and Scallops from Grandcamp-Maisey.
